Casa MaLuMi is located in the centre of Haría: a lovingly restored, traditional town house that offers you the ideal combination of relaxation, cultural flair and an authentic island feeling.
If you want to experience Canarian culture up close, this is the place for you. The artistic interior, which consists exclusively of works by local artists, gives the house a very special atmosphere.

The accommodation can accommodate up to five people, making it ideal for families, couples or friends who want to enjoy a special break. Three comfortable bedrooms
(1 double bed, 1 pull-out bed, 1 pull-out sofa bed), two modern bathrooms and a
cosy living room offer space to relax and unwind. Two of the three bedrooms face the street and one faces the quiet inner courtyard. At night, this street is virtually traffic-free. During the day there is the normal traffic of a small town.

In the well-equipped open-plan kitchen, you can spend relaxed cooking and
wine evenings with several people.
On the terrace you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the
surrounding volcanoes or the sea - the perfect place to end the day.

Welcome to our home in Haría on Lanzarote.

We have created a second home here for our children and ourselves because, after travelling extensively around the world, we fell in love with this island and this historic village house in Haría, the centre of the Valley of a Thousand Palms.

One of the many special features of this house is that it is located on the highest street in Haría, offering a wonderful view over the Valley of a Thousand Palms.

The natural diversity, especially in the north of Lanzarote, inspires creativity for things you don't do in everyday life. The best waves and the constant north-east trade winds motivate you to do water sports, and the tranquillity you always find here helps you to relax and unwind.

We have decided to showcase these things in the house.

These include the works of local artist Jose Luis from the village of Maguez, just 2 km away, which inspire us and to which we want to give a new home.

Feel free to use the painting materials you find in the living room of the house for your own creative creations. It would be nice if you could replenish them.

And of course, we look forward to reading your personal impressions in the guest book, which we will read again and again with excitement. We are curious to find out who our guests are and how they felt in our house, which is also their home for the duration of their stay, and how they filled it with life in their own way.

The word MaLuMi is a creation of Michaela. It stands for the first letters of Matthias and Michaela, as well as Matthias' mother, Luise.

In addition, MaLuMi is an existing and living word from the Filipino language and translates as "gentle".
